Initial situation

When we started working for Hisense in 2011, the company held the top 1-to-3 positions in various areas in China but was nearly unknown in Germany.

Task

Make the company more well-known and successful in the German market. Build trust, establish and maintain contacts, and position Hisense in attractive environments without a million-dollar budget.

Implementation/Results

Channel PR activities were a top priority to increase presence in retail and win new partners. We also organised media cooperations and ensured additional visibility in leading publications and on web portals with product and company announcements.

The IFA press conferences we organised were each attended by more than a hundred journalists, including in radio and television. Sponsoring UEFA 2016 and Schalke 04 gave brand awareness a major boost.

When our collaboration with Hisense ended in 2017, our consistent PR work had helped turn the company, which was virtually unknown in Germany, into an established and recognised brand.
