Initial situation

Since 2019 the annual International Tinnitus Symposium has been hosted by the Tinnitus Center of the Charité – University Hospital Berlin in cooperation with the German Foundation Tinnitus Hearing Charité. International experts present the latest findings from research and practice. During the symposium, the “Research Prize Tinnitus Hearing” is awarded. The aim of this prize is to recognise innovative approaches to studying tinnitus and other hearing disorders, as well as to promote the work of young scientists.

Task

Conception and realisation of a PR campaign as well as creation of image material and a PR campaign for the symposium and implementation.

Implementation/Results

Every year, we create posters, visual materials for digital platforms, and presentations for speakers. We also manage media relations and social media for the symposium. This enables us to sensitise a wide audience to the topic of tinnitus and the importance of hearing protection.
