relayr, a Berlin-based IoT startup, was looking to establish itself in the market. To aid their brand, they teamed up with household name Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, who were looking to boost their smart home reputation by launching a hackathon – Hack The House – in a beautiful Wilhelmine flat in west Berlin, also sponsored by Conrad Electronic and Nest thermostats.
To create branding, a website and a social media strategy for the hackathon, including using B/S/H’s wider reach to boost relayr’s brand.
A logo, website, and organic social media strategy were created for the event, creating wide awareness. It was attended by and featured in Heise, Germany’s largest IT media outlet, and received wide coverage on Twitter. relayr was eventually acquired by Munich Re.
